The Detailing Knights have been busy the past couple months helping to give back to the community while at the same time showing why the waterless car wash is going to be the norm in years to come.
Ryan O’Neil Knight was asked to speak at Lougheed Middle School about his career experiences and the waterless car wash solution Dri Wash n Guard that our company uses on Thursday, May 10th, 2012.
At Lougheed Middle School, they are continually working to provide their students with opportunities to explore a variety of career possibilities. It was great to see such eager students ready to learn more about being an entrepreneur and get to see them become waterless car washing believers after they tried it out.
T.O’s Eco Chase
Kicking off at the YMCA Central location in Toronto, Eco Chase teams of 4 scoured Toronto’s downtown core racing, searching and strategizing all while learning about some of Toronto’s most sustainable hot spots. The Detailing Knights were honoured to be one of the hot spots, displaying their waterless car washing techniques and also had a team in the race. Even though our team got lost and finished second last it was still a lot of fun and we are waiting for the next one.
June 9th of this year The Knights volunteered at the CarStar Charity car wash event at 1172 Dovercourt Rd Nick’s CarStar in Toronto. We were able to lend a helping hand while displaying our waterless car washing techniques to inquiring minds.
Joining our local chamber of commerce the Brampton Board of Trade was one of the best decisions our company ever made so we jumped at the chance to sponsor their annual event the BramptonBOT Golf Tournament at Lion Head Golf Club. Not wanting to embarass ourselves on the course The Detailing Knights chose to demonstrate our waterless car wash on the carts that came to the 10th Hole. It was lots of fun and we got to meet a lot of great people who were all intrigued about the waterless technique and how well it made their golf cart shine.
The Detailing Knights were more than proud to be apart of the big Listen ii Mi Event hosted by XII XV by Mirror Images. It took place at T2 Lounge in Woodbridge and was a networking / fundraising event to empower women and raise funds for Dr. Roz’s Healing Place. Not only did the event help to raise awareness for violence against women but it also showcased some unbelievable talent such as Shi Wisdom & Aion Clarke. Partied to music provided by Dj Queen of Spades and Dj Al. The hosts did an amazing job big up Al St Louis, Coco and Kerry Lee from G98.7fm
